Who We Are

BGCAN is a coalition made up of homeowners associations, neighborhood watch groups, and individual citizens for the purpose of helping to improve our neighborhoods. It is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors who are elected at large by the membership. Its first organizational meeting was held in February, 2001. Its current by-laws were adopted in May, 2003 and revised in July 2008.

When We Meet

BGCAN has general membership meetings called Rallies three times a year, generally scheduled for a 5th weeknight of months in the Winter, Spring and Fall. Most, but not all, of the Rallies take place at BG Parks & Recreation Large Community Room on 3rd Avenue. Neighborhood groups are invited to serve as hosts of an upcoming Rally. The Board of Directors meets monthly.
